Beaconsfield Inn, Victoria
Back in time.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Inn. It felt like going back in time. Loved the library room... sherry in the afternoon lounging on an old Victorian couch surrounded by hundreds of books nestled on dark shelves from floor to ceiling...... no phone or tv present! Sitting at a lovely breakfast prepared individually with a spot of tea or coffee. Truly wonderful!

great place
We had the Duchess Room which was very nice, and we also had a peek in the McLure room which was just as nice. the breakfast was very good. The location is quiet, yet near downtown and near the park for walks. All in all a great place if you like something eclectic. It is going to be my hotel for the next few years as I will be in Victoria often for business.

cute comfortable BnB
It's a cute BnB. Service at breakfast is a bit slow, as there is only one server. Breakfast is at a set time 8:30. The shower was a bit awkward to use. The fireplace was easy as it was a firelog. The streetlights shine through the blinds so the room is not completely dark. It is a very old building so the noise carries. Otherwise it's a very cute place to stay

Beautiful old house turned B&B
Beautiful old house turned B&B. Friendly staff, very good breakfast. Afternoon tea and evening aperitif are also plusses.
