SPECTACULAR!
I was extending my time in Cuzco after a guided Inca Trail Trek. I picked the Fallen Angel because the online photos intrigued me.I was not disappointed. This is not a hotel, it is a guest house with only four suites (these are not "rooms"). I stayed in STRENGTH and it had a wonderful dining area, huge claw foot tub, upstairs sleeping loft with incredibly comfortable bed. The staff was extremely personable greeting me by name upon my arrival (very few guests, easier to do). Andre sat and visited with me while I relaxed over a cup of coca tea. It was a lovely repast. One thing, I love Cusco and Peru so much, it was a bit of culture shock, because Fallen Angel is more European style and Frank Sinatra was playing on the sound system when I walked in. But this is an unforgettable guest house and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The Pre-Columbian Museum is right next door, the Inka Museum is around the corner, and Plaza de Armas is 1-1/2 blocks away, yet it is tucked away in a discreet corner. Love, love, love. I will be back... and it is SO ROMANTIC... I will not be alone! (WIFI is sketchy in the rooms, as I was warned, but I enjoyed leaving my double room doors open and sitting on the balcony.)

unique hotel
This is a very unusual property. Its art works are bold and make statements that might not be for the squimish. Managemnt goes all out in every way to accomodate every whim. My wife and I were a bit shocked by the decor at first but then got good laughs out of it

Hands down most unique place I have ever stayed at
If you are looking for a unique place (only 4 or 5 rooms) with the most amazing atmosphere and service you can ever experience, then don't miss out on Fallen Angel. The restaurant is considered one of the best in the city and from your first meal there you will be able to tell why. But it is not only the food --- the staff is absolutely amazing. You can tell that they are proud to work there and are genuinely hospitable, it is not a forced thing. They made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in, to the moment we left. We stayed in the 'yellow' room (aka Freedom) which was right about the restaurant. We could not hear a thing and considering this structure dates from the 1600s I would say that is amazing. The room is an art gallery in and of itself. You can look at the pictures, but until you are there, you cannot fully appreciate just how wonderfully special this place is. Centrally located on a quiet plaza, just a short walk away from the main square (Plaza de Armas). Don't miss out on this unique and unforgettable experience!

Heaven on Earth
Andrés and Carlos are the most gracious hosts! We were treated like family or old friends. The location is perfect and the decor is unique and eclectic! The restaurant is excellent - we had several meals there and even went back after we had checked out. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Andrés helped me to arrange our day-trip tour and also took care of me when I succumbed to altitude sickness. A true "Angel" indeed!
