Best Blizzard Ever
During the recent snowstorm, every staff member we met went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible. Reuben, at the front desk, let us stay for a very late checkout until the snow stopped. Remy shuttled us to restaurants and a show at the NJPAC in the hotel van, and returned to take us back to the hotel.

Bed Bugs, Unpleasant Staff and Bad Neighborhood
I would absolutely advise against this hotel. No free parking here, actually cost $30.50 per night after a "parking tax" and "state sales tax". The gentleman at the check in desk was for some reason annoyed and not friendly at all. I asked for directions to the train station and he failed to mention that the hotel actually offers a shuttle, which would have been so nice considering I'm a young woman traveling alone. This hotel is located in a very unsavory part of town. I walked to and from the train station plus around the corner to Dinosaur BBQ for dinner and regretted not brining my pepper spray. During my 5 minute walk for dinner I was called out to by random men and witnessed intoxicated/high individuals stumbling all over the sidewalk while arguing with one another. Nice. Don't expect to sleep soundly. Sirens and noise from the street kept me tossing and turning - I live in Philadelphia and am no stranger to sounds of the city. In the morning I got up and took a shower, the floor in the bathroom is like a textured concrete that just extends into the shower, pitched at points so you end up just standing in water. As I was getting dressed I came out of the bathroom to grab something and noticed something on my shirt, which was laying on the bed. See the photos, I'm 99% sure this is a bed bug. I've alerted the hotel, no refund was offered, and will obviously not be staying with them ever again.

Great hotel and helpful staff. I honestly wished my stay could have been longer to enjoy the hotel. But for what it was if I ever find myself in the area again I'd use Hotel Indigo again.

Beautiful Hotel, but completely understaffed.
The hotel itself is very stylish and modern and the majority of the staff were very friendly. We chose the hotel because we were going to a concert that night at the Prudential Center and it's literally on the same block. However, they were completely understaffed, the Valet service was a nightmare and the room was not ready when we arrived after three. The restaurant service was also understaffed. we sat down for dinner before the concert, but were never greeted by the server, even after 10 minutes of waiting. He was the only one serving, over 30 other guests. He seemed flustered and overworked, he needed back up definitely. The next morning when calling for our car from Valet, even a half hour later, our car was not there. We ended up walking with the Valet to go retrieve our car, dragging our luggage, because we were still fourth in line for them to retrieve our car. Again, the staff in attendance were friendly but completely overworked and understaffed. Management needs to be much better prepared for an influx of guest if there is a concert or a game at the Prudential Center, since that is the draw of the hotel for people like me, the close proximity to the venue.
