Comfortable place to stay, area well-worth a visit
The Inn is well located for a short break to explore the historic and scenic delights of the area. The room was comfortable and clean with a very adequate en-suite. A hearty Breakfast and an evening meal were readily available: the pub was obviously a popular local dining place--unsurprisingly, considering the well-priced good food. On a summer's night, with an open window for air, the noise from the pub could be a little disturbing, until the diners went home, but ear-plugs solved the problem.

A little gem in the back of Dumfries and Galloway.
Excllent VFM. Good food, good beer, proper pub atmosphere. Friendly, on-the-ball, conscientious staff. Nice rural location but easy to get to.

Excellent stay
I stopped at The Bladnoch Inn when visiting my brother who lives in the area. I have no negative things to say about this Inn, it is excellent and the locals in the bar are very friendly. The food served is home made and absolutely delicious. Value for money = excellent Would I stay here again? = definitely

it was bad weather when we arrived, cold and windy.our room was small only coat hangers to hang our clothes on over the radiator.heat wae set on timer and this seemed to come on late at night.we kept warm by going down into the bar to sit by the fire.i must say food and hospitality was very good

Lovely country pub
Friendly staff, great location on the banks of the Bladnoch river. Good food: I are I'm the bar, but could have used the dining room if I'd preferred. A great centre of a cycling tour of the Isle of Whithorn peninsula - and for the book shops in Wogtown!
