good place to stay in Rome!
We had a very good time at Hotel Pisa for our family trip in Rome. The building is secure, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Some service issues
The hot water broke on our first night and no one told us until we asked the next morning when it was still cold. Staff was apologetic. We asked for our room not to be cleaned but it was still cleaned the first morning and the staff that evening kind of rolled his eyes and said we would have the service whether we wanted it or not. The morning staff was more receptive the next day. Finally they do not have a luggage room or anywhere to securely keep bags for the day. It was a good location.

We enjoyed our brief stay
We only stayed here for one night as a layover, but it was a very peasant experience. The location is a bit far if you're walking to/from termini but we found the service, safety of the hotel, cleanliness, and staff absolutely wonderful. We came in late from the airport so our walk to the hotel was a bit uncomfortable but the staff made it much more pleasant. Give them a shot! Bathrooms clean, hot water, clean towels, and actually very quiet from all the foot traffic.

Awful and that's if you actually stay!!!
When we arrived at our hotel we got told it was fully booked and we would be staying at a different hotel round the corner. When we complained we just got told you can't stay here as no rooms and that was it!! The new hotel round corner was fairly similar however there was no working tv or air conditioning and we got told it can't be fixed. Also due to the fact it was next to the rail line having your window open wasn't an option. You had to book a time for breakfast and although a reasonable breakfast it never came when requested which led us to be late leaving on multiple occasions. The rooms for the hotel were in a different (locked) entrance to the reception and the room key didn't open the door so you had to report in and out everytime you left or arrived which certainly wasn't ideal and made us feel a little childish. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel or the one we actually stayed in unless you get a very good deal on it!
