Two Days in Lima
I stayed at the hotel for two days. It was conveniently located to shops, restaurants and nightlife. The suite I stayed in was clean and comfortable, but very minimalist in regards to furnishings. The hotel did not have an iron and an ironing board for its guests, which I thought was very odd. The hotel rate did include a full breakfast that was very delicious. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. i would stay here again when visiting Lima, as it was only five blocks from the ocean and a great walking path along the sea.

The hotel is located in a secure area close to markets, the only thing i didn't like was the the service to and from the airport is kinda pricey.

Nice place
We spent our first nite in Lima at this hotel before flying to Cusco the next morning. They gave us drink tickets upon our arrival, good at the bar. Everything was real nice. Watch out: the taxi to the airport is going to cost you $100 soles. Fair price is more like $60 but not all taxi drivers can drive you to the airport.

great service, everything else was lacking.
first off the positive. the staff was very accommodating and polite. we had a lot of luggage and the staff was great transporting and getting us large vehicles. we had a late flight on our check out date and they let us have a late checkout and store luggage all day. breakfast was good, some of the food was a little 'unfresh' stale bread, dried meats, etc... but there were a lot of good options so it was easy to avoid the more unsavory items. on to the not so good. the location is a little in between more walking neighborhoods so you'll pretty much always need a taxi/uber. when we checked in the room had a very strong odor, maybe mold/humidity? opening the window and turning on the AC helped. a lot of the furniture was moderately beat up. the bedside table was all scratched up as if a child had taken a key and scraped lines into it. i would assume a 4-star hotel would replace something like that before a new client. the white towels were all a little gray and brown which is strange. they didn't feel unclean but more just stained/old. also the room we had was next door to the housekeeping room and i think the walls/doors are very thin so we were woken up all night by the door slamming shut as staff worked. i would highly suggest not getting one of the rooms in that location.
