Not anymore good hotel... don’t go to this hotel.
Honestly, no next time to leave here, I don’t know why the staff talk to me in English while they are Chinese and I am Chinese. And her English is not very good as well with a lot of Chinese accent. I don’t know why I find Shangri-La is not cosmopolitan hotel, not very friendly... not very helpful. The lobby manager smile in a very fake way. Anyway, I will not stay in this hotel again, even their location is good.

Great Hotel
Really a great location, close to subway and premium shopping district. Also walking distance to beautiful former French Concession. Very impressed with the room and facilitiesand public areas. Service also was excellent. Was less impressed with the buffet breakfast, with limited options and quality. Buffet dinner was pretty empty with good reason - over cooked roasted meats and lack of fresh options. Not recommended. Also lobby toilets, far too small for a big hotel. But on the whole, very good.

Took the kids for a staycation over CNY. Arrived at 3pm, rooms were not ready but received an upgrade to a suite for our troubles. Staff was great and everyone had a good time. Rooms in the 50th floor provide amazing views of Puxi.

I was great experience to stay at the hotel. Especially, I wanted to thanks to people (including Tracey) at the concierge desk. Their service were so professional and careful. I will stay at the hotel when I visit Shanghai next year.
