Stop looking around and book it!
I've heard about capulse hotel in Japan before and I've gotta tried it at least once in my life! And also I was just in Tokyo overnight for a shopping spree...so the worst would be to suck it up for one night. The capsule and bathroom are very clean. They provide shampoo, shower gel, face wash, tooth brush, razor, hair brush, hair dryer, towels, and pjs...which basically means you need nothing except ur change of clothing. Inside the capulse is very clean and it has a fan, a light, a mirror, a TV, and one socket. I was skeptical about it at first but it was a great decision that I made. It was a short walk up the Shibuya Station and it's right at the corner of a main street, very easy to find. The negatives that I could think of but didn't bother me are: people waking up at different time in the morning and could be noisy, showers in a common area and it can get busy at times, one slow elevator, no big locker to store you suitcase (have to leave it outside ur capsule). If you're not a picky person, it's a must try ;-)

Good Enough
Clean enough, cheap enough, and close to Shibuya Subway Station. Wifi was good. Dont expect the guys at the counter to help you much with finding places or giving recommendations(and why shld you?) but their were no problems with their service concerning the hotel.

Great location-meets expectations
Hotel was in a great location in the heart or Shibuya and very close to the train station! Capsules were comfortable and place was clean. Spa pool was a great plus! Just don't come here expecting any service. The staff do not speak a word of English. Don't expect any maps or directions from them, nor should you expect to store any luggage before checking in or after checking out- or check in 1 min before checkin time. Keep in mind the train stations all have baggage lockers which is was very helpful.

It's what you'd expect
Not particularly relaxing or comfortable, but then again what do you expect from a capsule hotel? No safe place to keep large luggage, and there's nothing from stopping anyone from entering into your capsule at any point, so hopefully you trust your anonymous roommates. I stayed here because it was incredibly close to a live music venue I was attending that night, and I'm certainly glad I didn't have far to travel at 5am when the show was over and I needed a place to sleep. I knew what I was getting myself into, so I'm not disappointed but I'm certainly not impressed either. This can be fine for a night - if even just for the novelty of it - but I would hate this to be where I stay every night of a long trip to Tokyo.
