Four-star sleep but don't expect a midnight snack!
Great location nearly opposite the Fitzwilliam, nice modern décor, very comfortable bed and reasonable small bathroom (but larger than some, with full-sized bath with shower over). Where it falls down is on details, which is not what you expect for a 4-star hotel: eg, piece of moulding fallen off window, handle fitting on inside of bathroom falling off, late night room service options advertised but not actually available and food that was served both at night and at breakfast not of very good standard. One suspects loss or turnover of key staff, or false economies. Pleasant enough and a good night's sleep, but not up to expectations for this type of property with this brand.

Cozy room in a wonderful place.
Unfortunately only stayed for a night. Beautiful hotel close to downtown Cambridge. Loved the atmosphere, if I come back to Cambridge, I'll stay there again.

Convenient, clean hotel in a 19th century building
Good hotel, vey good location. Lots of restaurants close vy and of course the incomparable colleges. One thing to watch....a word of warning. The third floor rooms require climbing two flights of stairs. There is no elevator. The hotel does not warn you about this at all. They will carry your bags, but it is still a two flight climb.

Great Cambridge location
Pro's A unique boutique hotel in a great location (everything is walkable). Stayed there before and will probably do so again. Enjoyed the included breakfast and they made great lattes. Con's Didn't start well as we arrived at 230p and had to wait until after 4p for our room to be ready (no explanation and no alternative room). The wifi was horrible in our room (Geoff Merrill) and the bathroom developed a sewer smell on the last day or so.
