Such a Nice Stay
What a nice place in a wonderful area. Excellent service from Patrizia was so much appreciated She doubles as the local wine expert and can serve you some ! The Hotel has been updated very nicely and is kept so clean. I do miss my Big American Showers when visiting Italy. This Hotel is worth the extra $ for a splurge.

This was a great home-base if you want to spend a few days in Cinque Terre. Of all the towns, this one was easiest to navigate to with suitcases as it allows you to walk through tunnel and not do a ton of stairs. The hotel was the perfect location for us. Close to the train but also tucked in behind cute shops and dinning options. They also offer a really lovely breakfast each morning with delicious lattes & coffee. Our room was very clean and had a lovely balcony.

The rooms were very clean and modern. The room with the balcony was delightful opening up into the neighbor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delightful with fresh meats, cheeses and hot options. The manager of the hotel chatted each visitor every morning. She was a wealth of information. These villages were affected by extreme damage from heavy rains in 2011 causing mudslides to devastate the villages. To see the restoration makes you realize how resilient people truly are. We were minutes from many restaurants, shopping and more important, the ocean view. The train to each of the five villages was so convenient. We really enjoyed hiking from Monterosso al mare to Vernazza. Walking along the coastline through vineyards and garden with a view of the ocean right there was breathtaking. We travelled to each village and explored each one. The only regret is that we didn't book an extra day. Don't forget to take your swimsuit.
