Friendly staff. Clean hotel, conveniently located close to the Winter Gardens and shore. I wish rooms were bigger and had place for clothes.
total misrepresentation of pictures vs reality. Hotel looks like it is going to be demolished in a couple of weeks. Definitely will stay at Hilton next year. The only good thing is the location, very closed to Winter Gardens. That's it. Breakfast is ordinary, noting special, but again as I said before will Stay at Hilton.
Hotel was comfy and clean, pretty average but the room was really large
so room is good size for 2. there was portable heater , coffee machine at reception, so no kettles in the room. i was already enjoying my stay until bath time. the shower drainage is very poor, i had water in the shower that took forever to drain even after showering. the shower walls are filthy i must say as i could clearly see spots of dark dirt, close to mould on the walls, so i had to quickly come out. whose idea was it to have a fixed shower head? that doesnt help the bathroom as i wasn't able to rinse off soap lather from the walls as i will do( this should be changed) as it contributes to the unclean shower
Dirty damp hotel stay away
We were reasonably happy with everything except the WiFi which would NOT allow EITHER of our Tablets to connect (this may be because it requires the very latest version of Android OS (ours were 7 & 9 but latest is 10 or possibly 11?), however, FREE WiFi systems should ALWAYS be made FULLY backwards compatible); the only other (small) 'complaint' we had was the inaccessibility of the soap dispensers for children (or short adults, lol), these dispensers were also of an antiquated dwesign and would benefit from updating & relocation. However, the staff at this hotel were all very helpful and attentive.
I knew not to expect much for the price (despite the carona discount) but based on the online advertising; was expecting the facilities to be clean and to a high standard simply due to the current pandemic. Our room was really dirty; so dusty and grimy / bed sheets not fresh and clean, the carpets needed hoovering - looked like it had been vacant for over a week or so and no one had even bothered to check it before our arrival. First trip away in a year for my son, so was pretty disappointed and let down. Asked to be moved to the room we had originally requested; it was better, unfortunately the air con/heating was broken so we were freezing cold for our night stay. The breakfast was basic but good. Great location.
Room was freezing, parking was £14 for 24 hrs internet was terrible extensive building work is ongoing and scaffolding around the building means there is no outside view
The service on reception was great so helpfull.great location and bargain price per night
Under a massive re-Ferb scaffolding outside the building. room thick of dust floor .bed and in the bathroom no shower gel are hand soap . I was not notified of this building work ? Very disappointed
