Glasgow area stay
Great area of town, close to many things to do and places to eat. Small room and bathroom was out of toilet paper a lot. Showers were nice and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Walls thin and people can be heard from the next room

Smelly, but otherwise good!
We enjoyed our stay at The Kelvin. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, but serviceable. The food was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful, right on the bus and tour bus route, close walking distance to very good restaurants and shops. Not to mention next door to the beautiful botanic gardens which are free to visit as are most museums in Glasgow. My one complaint was the smell of our room. It was terrible, and not the kind of smell that comes from not keeping clean, but of prolonged moisture damage. I'm not sure it could be fixed without major reconstruction of the room which was at basement level, room number 1. I'm sure with warmer weather the smell will dissipate, I hope for future guests sake it will. Other than that we had a great stay!
