Rooms very clean and staff lovely however not for the business user as very loud music till late and loud drinkers in the beer garden, Would be great for Students or the young looking for a good night out

Quirky yet brilliant place
Fantastic room, attentive and friendly service. Room was directly above the pub, and there was an event running until 2am, butthe hotel had warned me in advance, so not issues there. Tremendous breakfast brought to your room, and a quality bardownstairs. Not for everyone (steep stairs, need to check-in at the bar etc.) but I thought it was brilliant.

The bar was exceptionally busy probably because of the music festival, but better that than dead. Nice room, nice breakfast, nice people, possibly a little out of the way.

Pick here and you won't be disappointed !
Very clean, spacious and comfortable bed with top quality white bedding, plenty or towels. Fresh coffee making facilities and sweets were a nice touch Breakfast lovely and plentiful Located a little way out it the city , but a nice walk down the quayside Don't be put off by the tired looking frontage, it is an excellent place to stay

A Little Gem
- Very good pub hotel. - Location good for easy access to city centre and Quayside area (20mins walk). - Room was excellent, very good size, comfortable and light - Some low level noise from live music in pub below, but not a problem (especially as the pub below is very good with excellent beers) - Breakfast served in room and of good quality. I have large continental and it was great. - Entry to the rooms via a dedicated side door, so no need to go through busy pub to go to bed.
