Regret, but.....
We were wrapping up a month long trip in the UK and spent the last few nights at Chateau Rhianfa. We loved the grounds and the chateau, however the bed was the worst we experienced in our month long trip. The middle of the bed sank towards the center. Definitely in need of new mattresses. Also in the lodge where our room was the walls very thin and we had to hear our neighbours television all night long.

Lovely and relaxing
The hotel is a fantastic old chateau, and the common areas are great. I was an annex building that was new, and the rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was tasty, I recommend getting desert. Spend some time walking around the grounds, there are a ton of little nooks you can hang out it and just relax. Service was great too. One of the best places I stayed in during two weeks in the UK.

Beautiful place
We only stayed one night. My reservations were mixed up and Ms. Love was beyond accommodating! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms were beautiful, the bathrooms gorgeous, and the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. My daughter left her purse behind, and as soon as I contacted them, they put her purse in the post the same day. They were all very thoughtful and kind,

Beautiful hotel
Very nice hotel. Arrived early and asked then to hold our bags, but they were able to check us in immediately instead. Our room had a slightly unpleasant smell, but dissipated quickly after we opened the window and did not return. We did not have any reason to make any demands on the staff, so cannot comment on that, but overall pleasant and uneventful stay.

Lovely location and amazing staff!
This was our second stay at the hotel. The only room available was in the newly-built lodge. This must be the smallest room in the hotel. Whilst it has stunning views across the Menai Straits to Snowdonia, it's through a small window and you have to stand. The only storage space for clothes was a small cupboard and there was hardly any floor space. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was powerful but didn't drain well. My partner realised the drain was full of hair! There's no soundproofing in the rooms. You can also hear when neighbours are running water or talking loudly. There were no blackout blinds or curtains so, if you need darkness to sleep like I do, take an eye mask! There was also no iron in the room but one can be requested. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the room. The WiFi has a strong signal and is suitable for streaming. The complimentary drinks and toiletries are of a good standard and more are available on request. The breakfast ingredients were of a good quality and vegetarian sausages were available for me. However, the menu offers a Welsh breakfast, but it's not Welsh as it's missing cockles and laverbread but the produce was local. The staff are all wonderful and go out of their way to measure your stay a good one. We will definitely return but only in the château or one of the bigger rooms in the lodge. There is plenty to do and see in the area, so give the château a try but avoid Elidir unless you're a Hobbit!
