Château Rhianfa, Menai Bridge
Regret, but.....
We were wrapping up a month long trip in the UK and spent the last few nights at Chateau Rhianfa. We loved the grounds and the chateau, however the bed was the worst we experienced in our month long trip. The middle of the bed sank towards the center. Definitely in need of new mattresses. Also in the lodge where our room was the walls very thin and we had to hear our neighbours television all night long.

Lovely and relaxing
The hotel is a fantastic old chateau, and the common areas are great. I was an annex building that was new, and the rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was tasty, I recommend getting desert. Spend some time walking around the grounds, there are a ton of little nooks you can hang out it and just relax. Service was great too. One of the best places I stayed in during two weeks in the UK.

Beautiful place
We only stayed one night. My reservations were mixed up and Ms. Love was beyond accommodating! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms were beautiful, the bathrooms gorgeous, and the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. My daughter left her purse behind, and as soon as I contacted them, they put her purse in the post the same day. They were all very thoughtful and kind,

This is the place to stay if in the area, but somehow it just did not reach its potential for us. It is easy to find, and ample, if tight parking. Our main disappointment was in relation to the wifi, an essential in this day and age, which just would not work in our room, for any of our phones or tablets. The manager was concerned as they had updated the system recently, so maybe it was just a bad day for us. Our room was comfortable, with good amenities and facilities. Breakfast was no doubt the highlight of the stay. The views and grounds are worth pausing over. If you are in the area, it might be worth staying here.
