great location, but not nice..
this hotel wasn't a hotel...it's a block of apartments that are really hard to find! the location on hotels. com is wrong. so make sure you check it out before hand. we bumped into a Polish man also trying to find the hotel so that made it easier! we walked up the rotten wooden stairs to level 3 to be greeted by a nice lady. she took us straight to out apartment and then asked for money. I gave her my credit card and she gave me the keys. we never saw her agaib. I asked for a map of the area and she didn't have one. we weren't in the apartment long as it was a bit grotty and Sopot was so much nicer than being in there! the kettle was mouldy inside and out. the cups were dirty. the sofa bed was nice, but the main bed had slats missing underneath the mattress so I was falling through the bed all night as the mattress was so thin! I'd compare the mattress to sleeping in a tent. the bathroom was small, and the shower door was broken. the bedroom lights blew so we couldn't use the lights in the room and the blinds fell off the windows! It sounds like Fawlty Towers, and it really was, but with no Basil Fawlty to come running. the whole experience was quite funny if anything. If you can't cry you just have to laugh. wouldn't stay here again, but go if you want a laugh and an uncomfortable nights sleep. sopot is lovely though, it's a 3 minute walk to the high street and train station. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants. the beach is divine and the Molo I loved!!

Very good location, but more an apartment
I stayed in the Hacienda for one Friday night. The hotel was pretty easy to find but it resembled more a large home than a hotel, with no signage. Its's in a very good safe central location within easy reach of the main strip and beach. Reaching the hotel we were greeted by someone who gave us a key for our room, top most room with cooking and refrigeration facilities which was very convenient. Large screen TV and a nice sofa! The room is comfortable with no noise or disturbances through the night. This hotel appears to be more so privately let individual apartments rather than a hotel, as there is no service desk or anyone at all on site for assistance. Nor were we given any contact details should we need anything, when it came to sourcing an iron, we got a contact number from another guest. The iron was promised but didn't come, after 15 mins we gave up and decided to go out. We had another issue with the shower which appeared to only give boiling hot water, perhaps a broken thermostat, again with no one on site I had to make do with a jug and bucket shower with water from the sink, my partner didn't bother and waited until we got home. We were however promptly compensated for this problem which was very professionally handled. I would stay in this establishment again for its good location and overall comfortable stay, just be prepared to be left to your own devices. :)
