Front desk personnel upon checking in was nice. Upon checking out very dismissive and rude.

Nice location a few blocks off of Michigan Ave.
Just a quick overnight trip into the city. Very convenient location couple of blocks off of Michigan Avenue. The hotel was still in the reopening process due to COVID-19, but the staff is accommodating and the restaurant was open for takeout. The room was very nice we overlooked city, very clean and comfortable bed. We would return for sure.

Fair 4.0
We stayed two nights for my anniversary., After arriving to our room the room had left over sun flower seeds all on table and my coffee pot was broke. We never got our room cleaned or extra towels for second day. We had to pay a extra $125 to park just for two days in the Godfrey garage. RIDICULOUS. We were guest at the hotel there should be no charge to park that should be included in the room rate. There was only 1 robe in our room for a room for a couple. It was comfortable and had a great view. However I won’t be returning due to lack of service and cleanliness.

Love the Godfrey
The staff made it easy to extend my stay a few times, even at a time in which most businesses and restaurants in the Chicago area were closed due to Covid. The hotel wad very clean and the room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Poor 2.0
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. The first room I was placed in had a broken headboard, broken toilet roll holder, broken picture frame, rips in the carpet and drawings on the wall. The sad part? Those were not even the major issues! The bathroom had mold in it and there were stains on the walls throughout the room! Now onto the next room. We were moved into the only other option they had for a family, a private suite. I was wrong to think that this would be the end of the issues. Once inside we find a broken mirror as well as damage to the doors and dressers. As for cleanliness? The pull out couch that my children were meant to sleep on had bodily fluid stains, hair, and I'm honestly not sure what else. Care to know the front desks solution to all of this? Tell me that I should just go to another hotel. If I hadn't taken pictures the gentleman that I was dealing with made it clear he did not care about the issues with his hotel. Now I get to wait up to 30 days for a refund on a hotel that should have probably been shut down by the health department.

awesome beds!
The first night I stayed there was a party on my floor so I asked to move floors. Then the second night, there was another party on my new floor. It was a Wednesday and Thursday night so not sure what that was about. But I will say the bed was one of the best I’ve stayed in!

Poor 2.0
errible experience
Received a room that reeked of smoke, had a bag over the smoke detector, and the phone lines had been cut. Was changed into a similar room but took much long than anticipated. Hotel offered no comp and still charged me the resort amenity fee even with the pool being closed.
