Munich near the train station
Very nice staff, we had adjoing rooms for us and the kids. Free water and a nice breakfast was included. It was a bit warm and there isn't AC but embrace room has a fan.

Disappointed that they wanted $20 euro extra a night for air conditioning. Also internet service was weak

Great hotel!!!
This was one of our favorite hotels on our two week trip. The staff was great, the breakfast was great. It was super clean and convenient to all the things we did. The street it was on worried me at first but my 12 year old son and I had no problems and felt safe.

Clean, modern and central. Great value
Very comfortable hotel close to the train station. The hotel seems new, modern and very clean. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was better than the average both in selection and quality of the food. Excellent value for the price. Our family room was two connected bedrooms with a small sitting area in the middle. The advantage is we had two bathrooms (important when you travel with the wife and two teenage girls). Location was great, just two blocks from the train station, walking distance to the heart of Munich. We walked from the hotel to all the important sights and back. There is plenty of food close by. Initially I was concerned about the area, especially because of the topless bar across the street, but even though we walked around late at night we never felt uncomfortable or saw anything mildly concerning. The only downside for this hotel, if you are a light sleeper, is that the tram runs by the hotel and you can hear it drive by. It really didn't bother us and we had a great time at this hotel.

You won't sleep with a room facing the street.
One review I read said something about terrible noise on the first floor and yet I booked the hotel thinking it was an exaggeration. I WAS WRONG. If you are in a front facing room on the first floor, you will not sleep. There is a split in the street car tracks right in front of the hotel and when it passes, every 20 minutes or sooner, it rumbles like a 747 taking off. Even if you are in the bathroom taking a shower, which is not near the street, you think lighting has hit the building when it passes. I really mean it is very noisy. There is no A/C, so if it is a hot day, you have no choice but to have the windows open at night, Now, the room is clean and the hotel is nice. The front desk was not particularly helpful in any way. I was asking one attendant something and they never even looked up at me. I felt like I was bothering them. On checkout, they tried charging us for breakfast that we did not have. The cleaning staff was nice though.
