Would stay again
Hotel was adequate, room smallish, and location to Mercado, plaza mayor, restaurants, And transportation were superb. Museums were a mile away. City Tour Bus stop was very close as was the municipal bus.

Nice place to stay in Madrid
Wonderful people, great location, tiny bathroom. We had a family room and it was more than adequate. Our only issue was the bathroom was too small; the toilet up against the sink and you had to move around the door to close it. We would stay there again but would ask about the bathroom arrangement.

Wonderfully Vibrant & Bustling, and a bit of noise
With a small balcony overlooking a bustling market square just outside of the Plaza Mayor, it was a vibrant, exciting atmosphere. The noise could be a bit much, but the great location was worth it - and when one closed both the interior and exterior shutters, the crowd noises was more like a mild white noise. The staff was fun, fabulous and excellent. The room for one, like most in Europe, was very very small. But hey, this was mostly a place to sleep, not hang, nor entertain. I loved the place. And I was thrilled to have an elevator, as stairs give me problems - especially when I'm towing luggage. Loved this place!
