Great Christmas stay!
I was truly amazed at the outstanding personal service provided by the 7 staff members we came in contact with. The place was decorated so well and the complimentary items were great. It was the breakfast each morning that will have us keep coming back! Variety, quality and presentation was excellent.

At $500 per night it was hugely overpriced. Although very good, breakfast was meager-you got what they gave. No eggs available. No breakfast rolls or pastries at all. Had to request that our room be made up daily and to receive daily toiletries. Had to walk outside (in rain) to get to breakfast. Everyone was very nice. Room was nice. At $250 a night it would have been a proper value.

Comfortable Gourmet B&B
The Landmark Inn was great. Relaxing, comfortable and close to downtown. We walked downtown, went to the Hall of Fame and had some great meals and met some wonderful shop owners. Robin and her team were great. She was our personal concierge as well making us dinner reservations at Mel's! The gourmet breakfast was top notch each morning! We will return and recommend the Landmark for anyone traveling to Cooperstown.

We enjoyed our stay at Landmark Inn
We celebrated our 42nd anniversary in Cooperstown, and enjoyed the bonus of a foot of snow on the ground. In spite of the picture postcard looks of the inn and town, the roads and sidewalks were clear and the very walkable town was easy to navigate. We were able to walk to dinner, shops, and the Baseball Hall of Fame. If you want to drive, there is a pretty lake near, with things to explore around it, a state park, and the nearby town of Sharon Springs. The inn itself is a lovely old Victorian, with slanty wood floors, gingerbread, and wavy windows. The old world visual charm is combined with modern amenities like a hot tub bath, and a pretty amazing shower experience. The staff had our tickets for the HoF waiting, and greeted us with a glass of wine and offer of snacks. Snacks and coffee/tea are available in the cozy sitting room afternoons and evenings. There was a fire in the fireplace, and books to read, as well. Breakfast is served during a limited window 8 30 - 9 30, but as there are only enough tables for the rooms, it works. There's a set hot breakfast menu that changes daily, and cold choices. They ask about dietary restrictions at check in, and will accommodate any needs. We enjoyed it entirely, and plan to return in the fall.
