I think it's better to list the things: 1. Good breakfast 2. The "tourist expert" had a horrible attitude and after not helping me, cut into the conversation I was having with the nice receptionist and told me not to be picky and I can sleep on my suitcase 3. When we walked into the room, we could barely take our shoes off because it was SUPER TINY! 4. The shower doesn't drain the water and floods the bathroom 5. There was a bad mildew smell in the bathroom 6. Luggage storage is always a plus 7. Most of the staff was friendly 8. Good location

Overall, this is exactly what they are going for. It's a bit Spartan. They want to appeal to those who will be out doing things rather than hanging out in the room, which I love. It is a fine value, in a super-interesting city! That said, if you are at all sensitive to street sounds, everyday noises (footsteps/ doors opening and closing, etc), consider other options.
