Khaosan Tokyo Laboratory - Hostel, Tokyo
Great price, great location
Really great location, close to a lot of food and several metro stations. This hostel has been in business awhile but everything is in pretty decent condition. Air conditioning in every room and bathrooms for every room. I stayed in a mixed dorm which (as a girl) was a little awkward because I had 3 guys in the room with me, but they were very nice. The best value I would imagine is if you are traveling in a group of 4, because everyone gets their own bed and it's such an affordable price. Will probably stay here again.

Good Locations, Helpful Hostel
The front desk was very friendly and helpful! I had a small hiccup with credit card charging (typo) but they were very polite and the issue was fixed promptly. The room we stayed in was clean and had 3 full sized beds and a private bathroom. Since it is a hostel, there's also a common room on the top floor for coin laundry, communal fridge, shower, and toilet. The location is also only a 5 minute walk from the Ginza Line and a very short walk to Sensoji Temple. It's easy to find and the area is great!

Wonderfully surprised with this find!
Really top notch operation. Great attention to detail. Lots of helpful, funny postings all around to inform their guests. Dorm of 4 bunks had their own bathroom. Karin was super helpful with suggestions about the area. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and help me. I loved the location but unfortunately only spent a short time at Khaosan. Inexpensive supermarket and great bike rental right around the corner. Nice upstairs kitchen n nice downstairs Community room. 2 free PCs for use. Even free towel. Only bad was the wifi was poor on the 3rd floor. I'd go back in a second for the facility, hosts and location.

Hostels are dirty places, and this one is no different. You wanna pay $18 for a room to stay in. Well just like everything else in the world you get what you pay for
