    The Haven
This was a lovely hotel positioned at the tip of the peninsula on sandbanks. New carpets have just been fitted around the hotel. The bar food is of a good quality, recommend the smoked salmon bagel/salad and crisps - the sea views room, are lovely and spacious. There is an indoor swimming pool, gym with jacuzzi, an outdoor pool with hot tub, positioned on the beach. The reception staff are both friendly and efficient. The chain is outside the hotel, as are breeder buses to take you into Swanage.

Great view - bad hotel for a lot of money.
Beautiful view, the hotel does need to be bulldozed, which is on the cards I believe. The staff didn’t care. I emailed and called the hotel to make sure we had rooms that were renovated and on the same floor. They weren’t on the same floor and if they were renovated then it was back in the 90’s. Everything is very tired. They were replacing some carpets when we were there, but apart from that it’s a badly designed hotel with many additions. The furniture is old and scuffed, the air conditioning didn’t work, we weren’t allowed to eat breakfast outside in the sunshine and you had to walk through the restaurant to get to the spa then the pool. Most of all, we were promised a good stay in newly renovated rooms, this did not happen and no one cared. The staff didn’t even know which rooms had supposedly been renovated.

    Family’s Holiday
No fridge inside the room so you cannot have a glass of cold water keep your fruit cool any cold drinks while you stay at the room for relaxing . The kettle was so dirty to make a cup of tea or coffee. Staffs very nice , friendly and helpful location is perfect.

    Beautiful comfortable hotel
We have been going for years, wonderful setting and we shall return. Sadly it will run out of life in a few years. However, it is still a treat to sit on the terrace at any time of day watching the boats go by! It just manages to retain it’s air of grandeur and earlier age. I recommend go now before it is too late.

A nice hotel. Service a little slow and reception not that friendly. Decent gym and pool.
