The property id 30 minutes from Banff. The accommodations were terrible. Furnishings, carpet, couch, lighting looked like 20 years old or older. Sliding glass door to deck was impossible to lock, No shower in Master. AC was beyond ridiculous, thermostat was stuck just bad situation. Had to go down stairs to shower. Landscaping was bad to terrible. Front desk wouldn't answer calls. When I did reach them once of several calls regarding the sliding glass door I was told the maintenance people went home. No follow up the following day. Overall a very bas stay and at best a 1 star property

Lovely cabin with really beautiful scenery. It was very clean, and stocked with everything you need. Friendly reception staff and tons of things to do on site such as the game room and swimming pool. Canmore was only about 10 mins away to get any groceries needed for our stay.

Great experience!!
My family and I stayed at the Banff Gate Mountain Resort recently and overall had a great experience. The grounds are beautiful, had parking in front of our cabin, spacious pool. We stayed in a cabin and overall it was comfortable and clean (couldn’t use the ceiling fans and the floor fans as there was so much dust built up). The beds were comfy and the kitchen has what you need.
