We loved the price and location of the flat and were really pleased with the information provided for us by the owner and that we would receive complementary milk, butter, bread, tea, sugar, and orange juice. Although we did receive this, the sugar was clearly an old, previously opened bag, that had been spilled across the cupboard and never cleared up some time ago (it was dried on), and the orange juice was actually a previously opened carton of apple juice (no issue with the flavor change, just that it had been opened). Towels were only provided as one each, which I suppose is fairly standard for hotels, though the hand towel for the bathroom felt cold and damp, and we were unsure if it had been used before. Only one pillow was provided each, and though others were available, for the sofa bed, no linen was provided to cover the pillows. The place wasn't entirely clean, there was thick dust on the bathroom radiators, where are towels had been placed, along some of the surfaces in the lounge and bedroom, and in the wardrobe. The bed was incredibly creaky, so much so that we both had incredibly restless nights, as the slightest movement by one would wake the other up. On top of that we weren't entirely sure if we had been given all of the necessary linen as the bottom sheet seemed more like a mattress cover than a sheet. The glasses in the kitchen were not, with fingerprints and other marks still on them, though the kitchen counters did appear to be clean.
