The property is in a prime location — a few minute walk from the Louvre and right across the street from the Tuileries Park. It was an easy check in. The front desk employees were very nice and professional. We reserved a premium room, which is larger than the standard size. The room had its issues — the lights in the bathroom were not working, there was mold on the shower tile, and I found a blood stain on one of the bed pillows. We asked the front desk for more wash cloths, but were told that they didn’t have any more. What hotel runs out of bath towels??
Two days before we checked out, we told the front desk manager that we needed to reserve a taxi to take us to the airport. We also confirmed a 9:30 AM pick up for a larger vehicle (we had 7 suitcases between three people). The morning we checked out, we received a call from the front desk at 9 AM stating that our taxi had arrived. When I said that we reserved a taxi at 9:30, I was told that we had reserved it, first, at 9, then she changed it to 9:15. She also said that the cab driver would wait until 9:30, but he left at 9:15. We had to call an Uber, which took some time. We almost missed our flight, thanks to their mistake.
Overall, it was comfortable and in a great location. They need to pay attention to the cleanliness of the rooms. I was also surprised that we were not offered a discount for the issues we had.
