Pleasant Stay
I needed a hotel for my last two days in Taipei and was lured by the jacuzzi. I do believe it's a love hotel, but that didn't put me off as I'm used to them in South Korea and haven't had any bad experiences as a solo traveler. I was given an upgraded room and it was pretty comfortable. It had the usual toiletries and was clean. I think video on demand was available, but I didn't have time to check it out. Service was professional, but that was generally the case during all of my time in Taiwan.

Room is good, neighborhood is so so
If you don't mind staying around a so so neighborhood, this is a good value choice. Room is nicely decorated, small but comfortable. Breakfast is ok. Close to Metro station.

Great value, jet spa tub with TV in bathroom
Has three floors in building, remodeled last year, very clean, great value in older neighborhood with day market nearby, but no night market. My wife and I love the bathroom with jet spa tub and I watched 4 innings of a baseball game in the fun after spending a long day sightseeing. Breakfast is okay, maid service is slow, if you are out all day, then it is fine. My wife was ill, I push the make room light, and they came at 5 pm. The place is very clean, but my wife didn't like the smell of the air in the elevator shaft as the doors open or close. Two blocks away from Metro line, front desk and restaurant staff very helpful. Restaurant basically just serves free breakfast, and when we bought food at the day market a couple blocks away, we were able to use their dishes, silverware had had free access to hot coffee/tea machine and drinks. Also has one washer and dryer you could use for free. The dryer is slow, if you don't overload it, it works fine...but it was free, my wife said the room with two beds is a little small, but you are busy sightseeing and spend little time in the room, it is more than enough. In fact with the jet spa tub, it's great! It is not in a Tourist neighborhood, but in an older part of town.

A very comfortable stay
The V-one Vogue hotel was very comfortable. Getting to the hotel is fairly easy. It's a short three-block walk from one of Taipei's MRT stations. Having that nearby access makes it easy to get to anywhere in Taipei. The nearby night markets offer delicious food. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Street noise wasn't too bad.

Great hotel but not great location.
This hotel served its purpose which was a one night stay after a long flight in. We went in the morning directly to the trains station for a trip south. The hotel was clean and staff were great but the neighborhood is not the best. No major problems just not very exciting.
