Family Trip
Great location, service, need another bathroom in family cabins. The housekeeping service to be desired. We arrived to food left in the refrigerator and the floors were not clean. They had a tip jar in the room but did little to earn a tip. Because of no tip by the way which we typically leave on the last day. We found the service to worsen over time including not supplying clean towels. The WIFI was terrible

Awesome, amazing cabin
We loved this cabin! Great value. Went above and beyond our expectations. Great restaurant, nice people. So cool and reasonably priced for what you get. Would stay here again in a second.

Great stay at the Historic Tamarack! We had a two bedroom cabin that was perfect for our purposes. Short drive to the park entrance. Great restaurant in the main building. Were very pleasantly surprised by the dinner we had there after a long day of hiking so we went back for breakfast sandwiches the next morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for trails in the park and other places to visit while we were in town. There is also a short trail behind the cabins that leads to a beaver pond. Didn't see any beavers, but very pretty view. Cabin did not have air conditioning, but it was not hot or uncomfortable during our stay in July. We were not right near the road, but with the windows open, you can hear the traffic and occasional train pass. It didn't bother me but might bother a light sleeper. Overall, enjoyed our stay and wish we had one more night there.

Glacier 2016
Used it on an overnight stay for Glacier National Park. The hotel is one the main road and since it lacks air conditioning the road noise can be disturbing if you sleep with the windows open at night. Ask about a quiet room location.

Rustic feel with Mountain cabin charm
Staff was very friendly and had good advice on where you could go and what to see. Also nice small bar and place to eat, since you are not really close to any other major choices, except a few cafe/bars up the road. Road noise is a bit loud if you are in units 1-4. Parking is tight, so no more than 1 car. No A/c but has a fan. Chef was great at being flexible on the meals I ate there.
