Great location.
It was a good stay. Only that there was a false fire alarm in the middle of night that went for about 10 mins.

We walked to major highlights or took the metro.
So very European but had such comfort for an old hotel. Nothing American about it, which was great, too. When we asked for ice we were given 6 cubes in a bowl...too funny! Staff was really accommodating and kind.

Great location, comfy beds, bring earplugs!
This hotel is in an old building. The hallways are very narrow and the rooms are very small (2 people cannot walk side by side down the hall). The staff was very friendly and they do offer a breakfast in the morning (its expensive for the small selection, you do better going out, there are plenty of selections very close). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nice. You can tell they try to maintain the place very well. The only downside is, it can be very noisy if there are people in the rooms next to you. In addition, because of the narrow halls, it sounds like they are coming into your room when they are unlocking their doors! If noise bothers you, this would not be a good place. I had earplugs so I could eventually go to sleep. The last night I was there, a large family checked in on either side of my room (they had 2 rooms) and the children ran up and down the halls all night. It was very loud and the adults as well were very loud in the rooms. The other nights we stayed it was nice and quiet. The beds were comfy and the location is great, but bring some earplugs.
