Great vlaue in an amazing city
Located just outside of the old town in a quiet neighbourhood easily reached by city bus. We enjoyed walks along the canals and windmills on the way downtown. Everything is set up for the comfort and convenience of the guests. Great breakfast. You'll appreciate the thoughtful little extras the owners have included.

Hidden surprise!
Wonderful stay! Jinette was most gracious and the B&B has wonderful charm and character! It is a long, but easy walk into the city from the house, and biking would be quite easy. The breakfast was scrumptious and presented exquisitely! Would definitely stay there again, and use bikes!

Best place I've ever stayed!
Ginette is an amazing Hostess, with a beautiful room well maintained and appointed. Ginette's care to each of her guests is unmeasured! Her attention to detail right down to the personal breakfast for each guest and her hand squeezed OJ. I have never been treated so well! I would recommend that anyone looking in the Bruges area to stay here. Best experience I have ever had staying anywhere!

Wonderful Home Base in Bruges
My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. Rated it an overall "5,” b/c perfect for what we were looking for. Pros: Hosts Marie and Peter were extremely attentive/accommodating. Provided pickup/dropoff at train station. House = Victorian style with older furniture, antiques, lots of roses, lace, etc. quite pretty - very "girly." Good wifi, large bedrooms/bathroom, shower had solid water pressure. Beds are foam mattress? Breakfasts were ENORMOUS - with cute finger foods, at least 3 kinds each of cheese and meat, and 4 types of bread, plus cereals, yogurt and fruit! We even had plastic baggies to take a picnic into town - which we did for 3 days, very convenient - especially since many of the bars in town only serve beer so you can bring in own food. Great "woman cave" shed/seating area outside. Picturesque garden. Chocolates on pillows, port wine in room... Location is just outside loop walls so it's a 20-30 minute walk to center of Bruges, only 5 min walk to Fort Lapin microbrewery w/fun tasting room. Cons: Not many! Neighborhood = residential but with buildings that looked like warehouses. Walk to center of town had pretty views and seemed safe, but may be a bit long for some folks. Just far enough that it was inconvenient to come back to rest mid-day. Some furnishings, bedding and accessories are getting a bit dated, but clean. Would DEFINITELY recommend to folks who like the style of unusual, older B&Bs rather than a cookie-cutter hotel.
