Excellent.
The Merrymoor was very welcoming in all respects. The owner/manager, Sarah, was unfailingly warm and helpful as were all the staff, to be fair. Everything is spotlessly clean throughout. The food was excellent for the choices we made in any case. We had a very spacious room, with large windows and an unparalled view of the bay. It was also incredibly quiet, really sound proofed. We couldn't even hear the bar downstairs even when there was live music. The Merrymoor is a lovely relaxing place to stay. It has a wonderful atmosphere, quite buzzy at times, with live music in the bar. All ages seemed happy to be there and it is dog friendly. What made it really was the friendliness of Sarah and her staff.

Second short stay at the Merrymoor. Fantastic service, brilliant food and room very comfortable. Made to feel very welcome, all staff very accommodating. Can highly recommend.

What an AMAZING place this is. If I'm honest, I picked it as it was dog friendly, offered breakfast and free parking, for closeness to Newquay and the price BUT when I got here was blown away by the location, opposite the beach... it was breathtaking! (Staff and room were lovely and the brekkie superb... best veggie sausages I've ever tasted!)
