The clientele was less than good as there was a pretty strong smell of Marijuana in the hallways. The overall condition of the place was pretty bad with everything being very worn. It was relatively clean but it was not as clean as it could have been.

I always stay here when I'm in Kings Mountain. Its mid range in price, but the lower price option has door that open to the outside and I like the security of having to use a keycard to get into the hotel then again to get into my room. I've always felt safe here. It was a little noisy this time since I was near where the snack machines were, but it didn't bother me. Only real issue was a power outage the day I needed to leave but I managed and thats not the hotels fault. however if this is a common problem, a few generators should be added. Staff was awesome. Couldn't figure out how to get the key card to work, maintenance helped me then we realized it was the wrong room! Housekeeping was great as well and front desk was friendly upon check in, busy when I checked out so I just gave her the keycard and left. probably the only place I'll stay when I visit. super convenient to Starbucks which should be open soon and biscuitville which I never got to try so I need to get back there!

Overall ok - but be careful
Few small details: first the sheets were dirty but remedied by friendly stay. Then in the middle of the night our car got broke into along with a few others at our hotel and other hotels surrounding. According to police this is a common issue in this area. So if you stay here do not leave any belongings in your car.

Always a pleasure to stay here I come here about once a year on business and this is my go to place to stay. Rooms are well maintained and clean. It’s not the newest hotel in the area but it is a safe,reliable and affordable option
