Family getaway
Really nice place. Breakfast was really good, rooms were nice clean and bright. Biggest plus was the card security for the elevators

Fulfilled our needs.
Good experience. Easy check in/out. Good breakfast. We particularly liked the Belgian Waffle maker. Pool was closed first day but opened second day and was fine. The kid loved it. Nice clean room. Good shower.

Disgusting and disappointing!
Oh my goodness where to start with how disappointed we were with this hotel! okay first and only positive is the area, the area was great and located near all the attractions we went to DC for. It all goes downhill from there! We paid extra for this hotel because it was one of the few we found in that area with a pool for the kids. The first night we went down to the pool and the first thing that hit us as we opened the door was the SMELL, It smelled like dead fish so bad that it took us a half hour after leaving the room to get the smell out of our nostrils. The water was green and the pool had a gross yellowish ring around it. There were also multiple large clumps of dirt floating throughout the water. Needless to say we did NOT go in the pool at all during our stay. The coffee maker, ice bucket, cups etc.. were located on a low open shelf in the bathroom right next to the toilet! We did not use those either, how is that sanitary?? The shower curtain rod was coming away from the wall and was loose so the curtain did not stay closed and got the bathroom all wet. After returning from dinner the second night my husband got a cup of coffee from the lobby and I got a cup of hot tea but both were not even warm let alone hot. When I explained to the manager about all these issues all he did was defend the hotel by saying things like "maybe the pool looks and smells bad but I guarantee it's clean". We will not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it to others.

Good hotel for quick business trip
Very nice hotel and centrally located in the Golden Triangle. Good for a quick business trip, and the free breakfast was an added bonus!
