On its way to five-star.
This is an elegant lodging in a beautiful setting with a terrific kitchen and luxurious rooms. They just still have some settling-in to do - need little things like soap trays in the shower/sink/tub, like bathrobes that have the fuzz washed away and preferably are cotton rather than than non-absorbing synthetic, like having all the lights work - it's just a few little annoyances like that which keep this from quite being the extraordinary place that it will be shortly.

A trip for Royal Mint experience
Excellent room and Breakfast. Arrived on Sunday for one night stay. Only slight downside was that evening meals are not served on Sundays. But this prompted us to visit the nearest pub (5 minute drive) which has a very good menu.

Great private hotel with friendly staff
Stayed here for 1 night as I had an early start meeting the following morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the building and the whole site was well kept and clean. Food, both dinner and breakfast was of a very good standard. Since I had a pretty bad cold with me that day, I didn't partake in much wine, which is unfortunate given that I was staying in a vineyard, but the 1 small glass of the estate white wine I had was very pleasant, even to my confused palette. I would return here with my wife next time in private, as it definitely has much more to offer to me than the usual Hiltons and Marriotts and the like.

A very good location, accommodation & service.
A very interesting concept with very good & convenient location, a high standard of accommodation, good friendly service, very high standard of fine dining plus a Bistro facility. Overall, a top rating and already planning a return visit.
