A Gem In Tokyo
This is a brilliant business/traditional inn in the heart of Tokyo. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, and the rooms were comfortable (not to mention inexpensive). I stayed in a traditional room (futon on tatami mats) and was very comfortable, though this layout might be challenging for anyone with issues getting to and from the floor. There was a desk and fridge in the room, as well as a private sink - the bathroom and showers are communal, but were very clean and easily accessible. The room had AC and a remote control that came with instructions in English (thanks!), all of which worked perfectly. A couple things to note: rooms are serviced only when asked for, so you need to leave the card on your door in the morning if you'd like to have sheets changed etc. Also, and this is the only ding I'd give the inn, it's very close to the Minami-Senju metro station. This is a blessing when navigating the Tokyo metro, but the noise might be bothersome to some. It's worth noting however that the trains stop running around midnight or so, and I didn't really have much of an issue sleeping.

The hotel itself is very nice, clean, looks newly built. The room itself while small, had a table and small sink. What I did not like was that the room had no wardrobe, or a so called japanese oshiire for storage. And the futon bed is not a real Japanese futon, the bottom part is some synthetic thick mattress that only replicates the idea of the traditional futon. Also, the room window opened to a sight of a cemetery, and even with the window open the nearby train line caused a lot of noise.
