Nice but no diveristy.
We booked a room at this hostel during an 8 hour layover in Lima as a place to relax and have a nap before boarding our flight home. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The family that owns this hostel was very accomodating and helpful. They even helped us check into our upcomming flight and carried all of our luggage up the stairs to our room. The only drawback about this hostel is that it is in an area of Pueblo Libre, Lima that is very residential. There is a chicken restraurant a couple of blocks up the street but other than that you have to walk pretty far in order to find more substantial choices in eateries or anything else for that matter. Overall, it was a nice and affordable place to put our feet up and recharge.

good location, no frills
We wanted to stay in Aguas Calientes so we could get up early and be on the first bus to Machu Picchu. The location is close to the bus station and it is easy to get around town from here. The room was no frills but it had hot water and a bed. We are not picky travelers. It was a bit more expensive than the rest of our travel but it is comparable to everything else in town.

Good location and good service.
Nice little hostel in Aguas Calientes. The hostel is a bit farther away from the buses to Machu Picchu, which probably helps make it a bit less noisy than some of the other places you could stay. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommending places to eat and pick up some needed supplies for visiting Machu Picchu (bug spray, sun screen, etc). They also serve a nice breakfast starting at 4 or 4:30 in the morning, which is great for catching the early busses up to the ruins.

Reasonably priced and convenient
Don't expect too much for the price and also consider this is a town that was built in a small valley so everything here is reasonably small. For a night to crush somewhere this is good enough. Recommended if you are traveling with a budget.

Great place for 1 night
Perfect place to stay for 1 night before going to Machu Picchu. They were very nice and let us keep our bags in lockers after we checked out. The only thing is there was no hot water and the windows dont close all the way so bring ear plugs
