Weekend Visit to Manizales
I am a value customer and the Benidorm hotel is a good value. The shower had plenty of hot water. Yes, the bathroom is small, but not a very big deal to me. There was no air conditioning in the room, but I bring along a table fan ... because many value hotels don't have air conditioning. To walk to the main street, or to the nearest shopping mall, you must walk up a very big hill.... 2 options .... walk up a very large staircase or walk past an area where a number of homeless people live. If you are alone, it is better to take a taxi from the hotel - they are very inexpensive. I don't think that the hotel staff spoke english. But I had a translator (person) with me.

Excellent hotel for the price paid
The hotel was in a good location, and had excellent service. We found a plumbing defect, and they changed us to a better room with more view. The hotel is very modern, and nice. The only thing was that the floor was not swept daily. If you like a modern hotel with elevators, and friendly service this is the one.

Good hotel for the price but ...
The hotel building is very attractive; it's like a 10-storey cylinder. Reception and public areas are "odd looking" (perhaps because of the cylindrical structure). Rooms are large and clean. Bathroom is VERY small. Minifridge contents and WiFi are FREE! Restaurant (coffeee shop, rather) sucks; furniture and menu needs an uplift. Otherwise, it's a good new nice hotel for the price. The reception girls were very kind as most people in Manizales.
