Nice hotel but shoddy wifi
Everything was not good but the wifi. Wifi would work only in reception area and I was in 4th floor.

You get what you pay for
Honestly I wasn't expecting much knowing that it was a hostel in a busy tourist town. Yes it was noisy, but it's on the main strip, so it was expected. Room was dingy, but again, with the amount of people in and out of that place, again expected. A few things that could be improved upon: the day we got in, I asked for towells. I was told he was washing them and would get them to me the next day. He could've anticipated needing a couple more towells. Also, most buildings here aren't the best structurally, you can hear everything through walls and they get pretty cold at night, but this hostel had the window above the door missing... Therefore all rooms could hear each other as if the doors were a open. Also, in our bathroom shower, there was only a half window, so for someone a bit taller than me, could see directly into the next bathroom.., a bit awkward when showering. Overall, I pretty much expected what we got so not an overwhelming surprise, except for the windows missing, that was odd.

Decent deal for the price
Nothing special but a good deal for the price - not very far from the bus station (where you would need to go to early in the morning if you are planning to visit Machu Picchu). Also accepts credit cards (including MasterCard, which is very rare in Peru) and the owner also agreed to store our luggage while we were visiting Machu Picchu.
