Great Onsen, far from town, Smokey bar
The hotel is fine and the Onsen is great. It's nice that they have a free shuttle to nearby mountains. It's a bit far from town otherwise. My only complaint is there is a cigar bar on the same floor as the restaurant. They leave the door to that bat open so the smoke smell permeates through the entire 10th floor. You can smell it at breakfast and dinner, it's really off putting

The location is a bit out-of-the-way, which was fine with us. We didn’t mind missing the craziness of Harafu, Especially since we had a car. For the price we paid we would’ve been in a bit of a dump there. This place was clean incredibly spacious, with a nice size bedroom plus a kitchenette and living area. There were just two of us but it could easily handle for people. And the staff always jumped to help us. To top it all off the onsen was a delight after a hard day of skiing.
