Hotels.com broken promises
We (two couples) walked out after one night. Hotels.com owe us for two nights stay. This hotel should NEVER have been on your website. It is patently unprepared for paying guests. It contravened everything you promised: double bed; non-smoking.There was a pile of cigarette butts/a lighter and cig packet on the FLOOR! My breakfast request took them by surprise. I had to wait till they roped in a woman over the street who presented me with two flat, fried eggs swimming in a disgusting sauce. She charged me extra for coffee in a country famous for this product. There was a kettle but no tea/coffee/cups in the room. Two of eight lights worked. Despite my complaining through your website and receiving a promise to put things right, we came back in the evening to find everything as we had left it in the morning. We walked out 15 minutes later. We were the ONLY guests yet they could not even stir themselves to clean the room knowing we had already complained about them. How did they spend their day?
