Grand Motel, Williams
Find somewhere else to stay.
one of the light fixtures broke while we were there, the heater didn't work all that great and it took more than 3 hours for the room to warm up...but without the blankets we brought for our road trip, we would have froze! Place is small, falling apart and not very nice at all. Sign said new beds...but there is no way our beds were new...they were so uncomfortable. The towels were not white - barely even an off white - almost looked dirty. Parking is poor, rooms are small and ours smelled of must/dirt. The owner did say they were the same time telling us we were given one of the rooms not remodeled...even though we saw NOT one other person there he said they were full????

Give yourself a taste of history.
You are stepping back in history here. Depression era tiny rooms including a garage! We found it very interesting imagining the Okies who passed thru w all their belongings packed into a jalopy. Some Depression era pictures on the wall would be good.

Authentic Motel on Route 66
Authentic motel on Route 66. Comfortable beds, great service. Walking distance to everything.

It was rated 2 stars, but I would only give it 1 star. It was very old, the room was very plain, but it did have a refrigerator and a good tv. We have stayed in several 2 stars before, and they were much nicer than this. The host was very helpful, though, so I'd give him 2 stars.

We really appreciated that the owner gave us tips on enjoying the town and the Grand Canyon.
