    Very Good 8.0
A friendly hotel that needs upgrading.
The staff was very friendly and responsive, worked hard to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel as a whole did not meet the standards of what a western tourist would like compared to other local venues. The rooms need to be decorated and furnished above the bare minimum provided. In-house internet was poor. Location being near the port and Capitol did not match the beauty of the rest of the island. Car rental service provided cars that were old, internally dirty, and beat up. Personally I didn’t mind, but I could never bring my wife there. The Millenial is more for the experienced international traveler who can accept something older and in need of repairs and upgrades.

    Friendly staff, Meh accomadations
I am not a high maintenance traveler and have spent a fair amount of time in 3rd world countries; however, I expected a bit more from Hotel Millenia. Breakfast was good, especially the Samoan pancakes which they had every other day. The pool was nice, although not as clean as I would prefer, but it did not bother my child. WiFi was pretty spotty and not available in our room. You cannot pay for WiFi online, but must purchase codes from the bar. When they ran out, they simply said "sorry" without giving any indication when more might be available. We walked to the next hotel and bought one there though. There were tea/coffee supplies in our room, but no hot pot. It seems you only have one opportunity for your room to be cleaned. When my child took some extra time to get ready in the morning and I asked them to come back to our room in 20 minutes, they never did. When they did clean our room, the deck was not cleaned, leaving a dead cockroach there for several days.

Pool that doesn't work in the dreaded heat hotel!
It was really disappointing to see that the pool was closed for repairs during the hottest days. That was the whole purpose of choosing to stay there. There was no notice on the Millennium hotel website saying it was under repair and would be closed. If I'd known that I would not have stayed there. Also, our room was not serviced while we were there. We were out and about most of the day and night, when we returned at 1:30am I had to ring reception for fresh towels and advised them our room had not been serviced at all. When I checked out I asked reception what is their complaints procedure? She looked at me confused and asked what I was complaining about, I was then told that her Manager was away. She did not let me talk to anyone on site. Breakfast was not appealing and really did not have much variety at all. This hotel was NOT worth the money we spent here. Majority of the staff we came across we're amazing and really attentive.

    Poor 2.0
    Never again.......
Very bad experience with this hotel because of the noise from the bar music and employees up and down the hallway. The flooring is wood, and you can hear everything. Lost sleep every night and was looking for ear plugs to use while sleeping.
