Home trip
There was a booking issue when we tried to check in and the receptionist took a few minutes to sort that out but she gave us a wonderful loft upgrade instead of the standard room we initially booked for Room was clean, and cozy There is a slight issue with one of the lightbulbs in the main floor of the loft but it’s nothing major Breakfast was really wonderful with good food and service Will definitely consider being back there if i return to sg in future

Thumbs Up!
Checking in was a breeze...thank you Wani. Our Attic room was great. The room was both clean and comfortable. Most importantly the air-conditioner worked like a charm. Breakfast choices were very good. Entire staff were excellent. Would stay here again. Recommended!

this is a heritage building. thin walls, small hot water tank, non premium amenities generally. location is fun though.

Stay with the Sultan
I love the Sultan! The neighborhood is great, full of great restaurants, bars, sightseeing. I really enjoyed the cats who live in the neighborhood, but that's just me. The street windows let in the traffic noise, but that was the only thing that wasn't terrific.

Looks great, but that's about it.
The hotel looks very nice. Unfortunately, our room was very loud. The upstairs lounge was behind us, and blasted music until well past midnight every night even during the week. It was like living in a sorority house circa 2002. The bed matress is on the floor, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for others. The wifi was dismal. Couldn't even connect inside of the room. The breakfast was equally dismal. Slim pickings to begin with and if you show up after 9am, they don't refill fruit or croissants, which is 50% of the breakfast. On the plus side, the shower was really great. It's sad really, the place has so much potential.
