Amazing!!!
I never, ever write reviews, but had to write one for El Ganzo. I've never been so blown away by a hotel. It exceeded expectations in every way. A lot of the pics posted here are outdated and don't do justice to the beauty of this place. The rooftop pool with swim-up bar has breathtaking views, and the private beach is truly spectacular. Food and drinks are really excellent, as well as the service, both in the restaurants and in the pool/beach loungers. If you find Paco around, ask him about the recording studio and the musicians' residency. Beautiful art everywhere you look. Some may find the location a bit remote (it's in a much quieter part of San José del Cabo)—but for us, this was perfect. Very close to Los Tamarindos and Flora's Farms, both of which are great places to go to eat or even take a Mexican cooking class!

Cool boutique art hotel. Food was okay but very over priced. Location is great - quiet but great view and right on the water. Rooftop pool was nice. Beach club could play more music and have a more club vibe. Overall we had a great time.

Unforgettable experience
It was amazing experience. Hotel is very special, unique. Service was excellent from the very beginning to the end. The front desk worker Paola was superb- professional, knowledgeable, attentive, ready to help. My husband forgot the Glaucoma drops at home and was desperate, Paola contacted local pharmacy, and in an hour we got the drops in our room! Unbelievable! The place is beautiful, full of art, beach is the best in the area. We definitely recommend hotel El Ganzo to everyone especially to couples. For sure we will be back.
