Osaka Budget Traveler Location
This hotel is worth considering if you're on a tight budget and want a conveniently located place in Osaka while traveling light. It's right beside the Nishinakajimaminamigata Station, so it's a quick walk to the train/subway. That always makes life easier in Japan. That station is also very close to the main Osaka station, in case you plan to catch the Shinkansen. It's also an easy ride down to Dotonburi, the major shopping/food area. The staff also can speak with you in English, which helps if you cannot speak or understand Japanese. The hotel is used by a lot of Japanese business travelers. However, it is very basic, and 2 adults may need to use a double bed (wide bed) for a 2 person room (versus 2 separate beds). Rooms are tight, and not meant for large suit cases. The hotel feels old and worn out (if that matters to you). Wifi is also slow and may not be functional at times. They give you a physical key to use for your room, which you have to give to the front desk everytime you leave the hotel. Other than that, it's a convenient spot to stay in Osaka for a budget traveler.

We stayed for only a night. The good thing about the hotel was the location ..on the Midosuji Line which connected to Umeda and Osaka Station. And its nearness to Shin-Osaka Station which is the station for the Bullet train or Shinkansen. By taxi, it costed us only a 1000 yen to get there from Shin-Osaka and 840 from the Hotel. We had 4-5 bags so it was very convenient to use a taxi. The rooms were really small and I think they gave us the older room as I saw that the other rooms were renovated and looked less faded. We arrived earlier than check in time and wanted to put our bags in a room that was available and so I think they probably gave us a room that was not used the previous night because of its size and it was right at the end of a long corridor...a long walk from the elevator. My friends had a better room because they left their bags in our room and got their room a little later. The bed was comfortable enough though.

Great location, close to trains!
You can't beat the location if you are going to travel around Osaka by train. It was literally across the street. Couldn't hear the train from my room on the 10th floor. There's vending machines on the 4th and 9th floor. There's beer on the 9th floor. Never went to the 4th floor. There's also a 7-11 across the street. Downsides were room size and beds. I stayed in a 3 twin bed room, which was perfect for my group. However 2 of the 3 beds were uncomfortable and the room was very small with little room if you traveled with large suitcases. If you aren't planning to stay in your room much, this place is great. I was 2 stops from Umeda and 6 from Namba. Despite the negative mentioned above, location was what sold it to me. The room was clean and the staff was nice. I don't really need much more than that. Oh! And don't eat at the restaurant there. Plenty of better food places in the area right behind the hotel.

Convenient location, close to subway and train station. There are many restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Room rate is really attractive.
