All good but parking options
Everything at the hotel was great. I didn't try their bar/restaurant. It is a great area. Parking is the only problem. If you don't valet park you have to walk two blocks with all of your luggage to get to the parking garage. I wasn't expecting to make the choice of $62 per day valet vs walking for $49. I'm not sure what the hotel can do about this, but hopefully the next customer will be more informed on the only two options available. Parking on the street would have to be monitored every few hours as you couldn't pay per day and it was more than valet parking for a night's stay. Hotel itself is great. I liked that they didn't have small bottles of shampoo and soap, that should help with plastic waste, both came from a dispenser in the shower. Nice location, lots to do close by.

Bad WiFi
The WiFi was poor. We logged on to hotel WiFi but it was only basic broadband. Very slow. Everything else was spectacular. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel bar was excellent.

Great hotel but....
We stayed one evening to attend a concert. The location, hotel, and staff are incredible and this is our fourth time staying at Aloft, City Center with previous positive reviews. This time, however, our stay was not great. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and because the hotel is pet friendly we listened to the dog in the room next door bark nonstop every time someone walked down the hallway or closed their door from midnight through 5am when it must have collapsed from exhaustion from barking all night. Keep this in mind when booking a room here.
