Horrible!
Stupid and annoying check in procedure. We arrive in the city and have booked the place through hotels.com. We take a cab and go to the place (after several hours of traveling and airport/station hustles). The door is locked! No one there. The bar across the hotel (given it was raining and we were on the street) offers us to stay inside the bar. Finally there is a person who shows up but has no idea what we were talking about. She calls the "reception" and then we were told to go back to the station and collect the keys. Their desk is at the station and they CAN NOT bring the keys. We take another cab and go to the station and they are not there. Finally we find out that they have another hotel close to the station. We arrive at the lobby of their hotel and we complete the forms and everything and then she hands us the key. Not even a courtesy of offering a ride back to the place because they simply dont care. I ask them for the wifi password and I am told that it is inside the room. We arrive back and learn that we cant use the lift because the hotel guests are not allowed to use it. 5th Floor and no one to help with the luggage. We make it to the room and find out that there is no WIFI password and no phones to call the reception! The solution was to go all the way back to station and get the password!

Disappointed in Rome
Not a pleasant experience. First you have to go to Termini to get the key (which was out of our way and not so easy to find). The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The apartment was in a dark, graffiti-filled alley. Then the apartment condition was horrible with stains on the bedcover, a loose door hinge, water on the floor, no wifi code visible and a horrible window view the dark alley. Disappointing to say the least.

Service. Location. And AC. We loved it!
The customer service was amazing. We felt very well taken care of ... communication was great and the location was perfect. And for those of you also from the U.S., the AC will make you feel at home and so happy.
