Not helpful hotel
This family hotel would not help us with a needed date change on the reservation. We asked for a date change or a partial credit but they would not do anything to help us. They took hundreds of Euros for a multiple night stay reservation but would not do anything to help us when we needed to change it.

Great Location near Piazza de Popolo
We booked very last minute and later at night. The owners were gone but their number was posted and they answered right away. They directed me to the key that was hidden away just for a case like this and we got into the room. They told me that the website was not supposed to book after a certain time at night, so I don't hold it against them. The room was very clean. I don't know if all the rooms are the same, but room 19 is two levels. Queen bed, desk, and bathroom upstairs. Down is two twin beds. Wall AC both up and down and it cooled the place really fast - it was mid 90s that day. Looks like it was just completed and everything is new and nice. About 2 minutes to the Piazza and the metro is across the road from that. Two stops to the Vatican, one or two to the Spanish Steps, and four to the Roma Termini. Stayed for two nights and wish it could have been more.

Good location, clean with style
This is my first trip to Rome. I'm happy that I stayed at La Maison Del Corso. It's a cozy apartment style small hotel, 5 minutes walk to Spanish Steps, walking distance to many known sites. We visited most places by foot. The hotel is nicely renovated, very clean, not too big, but not too small neither. It's right in shopping area. What's extraordinary about this hotel is the people, the staff, Paula and Julia. They are genuinely kind people, very friendly and helpful. We didn't book breakfast, but Paula invited us for coffee the first morning and gave us all needed information on our visit. We also used their private driver who picked us up from the airport. He's very nice and profesional. I will certainly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Rude and heartless property owner
The owner of the property did not allow us to stay after he found out we had a child. He said it was for a double occupancy room and our 2 year old daughter who sleeps with us puts us over the limit. We had reserved stating 2 adults and 1 child but that did not matter. We were left with a baby and luggage in a foreign country without a hotel room. The owner was rude and said I don't care what you do you cant stay here.
