Hotel Angra, Loreto
Very frustrated. Full disclosure, I booked my night for Thursday (accidentally), did not realize that until we showed on Friday. Friday the hotel was completely vacant. A normal hotel would realize/understand the mistake especially since I paid for the night prior AND they were literally 100% vacant on a Friday night. We have stayed here the last 6 years and I'm so frustrated I'll likely not stay again. I did not recognize the man working the desk as we actually also stayed there several days earlier and the normal woman working the front desk is nice (I'm guessing she would have handled this differently).

Nice stay!
Nice spot...felt safe and it was clean. Super hot water and great pressure from the shower head!

Clean, comfortable, affordable
Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed and nice, hot shower with good water pressure. Easy to walk to the malecón, central plaza, and great local park. The breakfast options were very limited. The coffee was good, but it would be nice to have some protein offered and a couple more choices of fruits. Overall, nice stay.

Good things in no particular order: there is a grocery store within walking distance, the shower was hot with good water pressure, they have endless agua pura available in a dispenser in the hall, the gate that closes at night made the place feel very secure, the rooms are spacious and pretty, they allowed my dog to stay in the room with me (I'm traveling Baja as a single woman, with my dog, so this is important to me). It was easy to find the hotel from the highway, when I checked in the clerk instantly registered my level of language skill and spoke Spanish clearly and slowly enough that I understood him even though my Spanish sucks (I appreciate this very important skill and I was impressed with him!), and the rooms on the first floor are wheelchair accessible (I think--I stayed on the second floor, which requires a flight of stairs, but there were clearly marked wheelchair ramps on the first floor. I can't guarantee that a power chair or larger manual chair would fit through the doors, or that the bathrooms are accessible. The bathroom on the second floor were a little cramped for transfers to/from chairs, and the shower had no lift bars). Less great things: the internet cut in and out, and the beds and pillows were hard/lumpy.
