Close to subway station, but very loud
We got a smoking room, which really stank of cigarettes. The hotel is located next to a fire station, so every night we woke up from sirens. The hotel is really close to the subway station.

Canceled reservation
My wife and I were going to Tokyo for the cherry blossom experience and we booked four night stay at this hotel. Due to overbooked flight, we couldn’t arrive there on time. After calling Hotels.com we were told that one night penalty will apply due to no show at hotel since it was less than 24 hours before our arrival and that was the policy. We understood that but were assured that the other three days will not be canceled. When we arrived at the hotel a day later that is exactly what happened. The hotel canceled the reservation completely, and offered two single rooms instead since double rooms were all taken. They did not offer to put us up at another APA hotel of which there were two within a few blooks. I booked another hotel myself at that time and just walked there. They also said that they refunded the money back to us which was also not true as I found out a week later when checking my credit card balance. I hate to write bad review about a hotel in Japan as we allways had a great experience there, but they gave me no choice this time and basically left us out on the street
