Authentic Italian charm.
Met by owner who graciously accepted us despite early arrival, Luca showed us around and how to access the area as well as "tourist" information. He assisted us by providing a dedicated parking spot as well. As his home is in a neighbourhood parking is premium so this was special. House is reached by way of an old mountain trail through the region. It requires 55 steps on the cobbled trail as well as another 100 feet of incline. I loved it and after few times it was easy to do. My husband hated it. He would have preferred a place with easier access. We differ here as I loved the quaint authentic charm, especially the patio and deck with view of the lake. Kitchen in our unit had fridge and stovetop only. Charcoal cooking outside.. Our unit slept 4. No TV. Wifi access 24/7. Other unit had tv and microwave, slept 2. Transportation by local bus requires a hike down to the road and always have to remember you have to go back up. Only few kms. to town. Stayed a week but wish it could be more as so much to do in area.

B&B, with a view
Nice villa, with an amazing view on the lake. Located between Como and Belvio, it's only 4km away from Como (car highly recommended though). The host was welcoming and gave us numerous of "insider" tips about Como, like where to park and things to do around. Guest house is somehow hard to locate at first, a sign would be welcome at the street level in order to indicate direction to the villa. Even though the access is not very easy, our host was very helpful by helping to carrying the luggage.

Amazing B&B on Lake Como
We stayed at the B&B for three nights. The room was cozy and came with a kitchen and washroom. A TV was provided in the room. Breakfast was simple but the owner provided home made pastries (they were amazing) every morning to compliment what was provided in the room. There was an outdoor grill but we never used it. The B&B had a rooftop terrace overlooking the town and had a view of the mountains and the lake which was nice to eat breakfast. The owner was very friendly and helped us with finding buses, boats traveling between towns on the lake etc. It was the perfect base to explore Lake Como and was very peaceful at night. Furthermore even the locals were friendly. We got lost looking for a store to buy some groceries and after asking someone for directions he drove us the nearest place that was still open and then back to our room. We loved our stay and hope to return in the near future.

A fantastic family apartment.
The apartment was perfect for our family stay in the Lake Como district. The room was very clean and comfortable and the views from the terrace simply breath taking. The owners with their generous hospitality, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We we will certainly stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Ett boende som är ok men inte mer. Bilvägen upp är rent förskräcklig. Parkering i ett garage som var bra. Brant stenväg upp till boendet. Inget för äldre eller rörelsehindrade. Ingen frukost trots att det skulle ingå. 90 euro är i överkant. Inget för oss. Utsikten mot Comosjön var dock fantastisk.

Für eine Nacht ausreichend. Roch muffige in der Wohnung. Küche nicht ausreichend bestückt. Handtücher rochen muffig. Garage vorhanden, das war ein Plus. Hausherr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ausblick auf den See wunderbar!! Frühstück- Packung Kekse, Packung Milch, Preis/Leistungen stimmt nicht, zu teuer!

Wish we could have stayed longer
This was a last minute booking without much expectation really. We where late, hungry and just needed a place for sleep. To get to the location and not knowing the steep narrow streets on the hills around the lake felt a bit scary at first. But once there, it was so incredibibly nice. The owner was very friendly and helpful. And the terrace overviewing the lake was breathtaking, even in the dark (not to mention what awaited us in the morgning), beautiful! This place is a pearl! Our only wish of change in our experience might be that we could have stayed longer.
